Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about setup, clinical roles, pricing, programs, and how Sinta works with your wellness business.

Getting started

What is Sinta Health?

Sinta is a technology and operational platform for wellness businesses. It brings client intake, independent provider access, labs, pharmacy coordination, payments, and support into one connected experience. Sinta does not practice medicine or operate as a pharmacy.

Who is Sinta Health for?

Sinta is designed for established wellness businesses, including chiropractic practices, medical spas, gyms and fitness businesses, health and wellness centers, weight-loss practices, and other qualified wellness organizations that want to add connected cash-pay health programs while keeping their client relationships at the center.

How quickly can my business launch?

Most clinics are up and running in under one week once onboarding requirements are complete. Timing depends on portal configuration, team setup, selected programs, and any required operational or compliance steps.

Do I need a medical license or clinical staff?

A wellness business does not need to employ its own clinical team to use Sinta. Independent licensed healthcare providers evaluate patients, determine eligibility, prescribe when clinically appropriate, and handle clinical decisions and medical advice. Your team remains responsible for providing only the nonclinical wellness services appropriate to its training and role.

How does Sinta fit into my client relationship?

Your business remains at the center of the wellness relationship, providing the general wellness education, encouragement, accountability, and support that are appropriate for your business and team. Sinta provides the technology and administrative infrastructure that connects clients with independent licensed providers and coordinates the broader program experience.

Programs and clinical care

What programs can I offer?

Available program categories may include medical weight management, hormone health, provider-guided peptide options, and comprehensive lab testing. When clinically appropriate, an independent licensed healthcare provider may prescribe treatment, and integrated pharmacy partners coordinate fulfillment. Availability varies by state, provider judgment, patient eligibility, and program requirements.

Who decides whether a client receives treatment or medication?

The independent licensed provider does. Each client is evaluated individually, and no consultation, medication, or program is guaranteed. A provider may request records, laboratory work, follow-up, or an in-person evaluation before making a decision.

Which medications and peptides are available?

Treatment options vary by state, provider protocols, pharmacy availability, and each patient’s clinical needs. Available program information is reviewed during onboarding, but only an independent licensed healthcare provider can determine whether a specific medication or peptide is appropriate and legally available for an individual patient.

Are the medications provided through licensed pharmacies?

Prescriptions are sent to independent licensed pharmacies when a provider determines treatment is appropriate. Product-specific questions, including sourcing and available testing documentation, should be directed to the dispensing pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA premarket review for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

Will every client need lab work or a video visit?

Not necessarily. The treating provider determines whether laboratory testing, a live video visit, follow-up, or an in-person evaluation is required based on the program, the client’s history, clinical judgment, and applicable state law.

What happens if a medication is temporarily unavailable?

If a pharmacy cannot fill a prescription, the client will be notified of the delay. The prescribing provider may determine whether another clinically appropriate option is available. Sinta may coordinate administrative communications but does not select medications or guarantee pharmacy inventory or delivery dates.

Are all programs available in every state?

No. Program availability varies based on state requirements, provider coverage, pharmacy capabilities, laboratory access, and program requirements. Your Sinta representative can review the options currently available for the states in which your clients are located.

What happens if a client is not clinically eligible?

Treatment and medication are never guaranteed. If an independent licensed healthcare provider determines that a client is not eligible for a requested treatment, the client will be informed through the appropriate clinical workflow. Any payment, cancellation, or refund questions are handled according to the applicable program terms and policies.

Are medications FDA-approved or compounded?

The product dispensed depends on the prescribing provider’s clinical decision, legal availability, and the dispensing pharmacy. A prescription may involve an FDA-approved medication or, when legally permitted and clinically appropriate, a compounded medication. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA premarket review for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

Client experience and privacy

Who answers a client’s medical questions?

Clinical questions are handled by the client’s independent licensed provider or the appropriate clinical support channel. Your team and Sinta can help with general platform and administrative questions, but should not provide medical advice unless separately licensed and authorized to do so.

How long do clinical review and pharmacy fulfillment take?

Timing depends on intake completion, provider review, any required laboratory work, pharmacy inventory, and shipping. Because several independent parties may be involved, Sinta does not promise a fixed approval or delivery date. Clients receive status updates through the applicable workflow.

Can my team see client progress?

Authorized team members may view only the onboarding, participation, and program-status information permitted by their assigned role, client authorization, applicable agreements, and law. Clinical records and medical information are not broadly available to Partner staff and remain subject to applicable privacy restrictions.

How is client information protected?

Sinta uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information handled through the platform. HIPAA applies when information is handled for a covered entity or Business Associate under the applicable relationships and agreements. Where required, Sinta enters into a Business Associate Agreement. Additional information is available in our Privacy Policy and HIPAA & Provider Privacy Notices.

Who is responsible for the medical care provided?

Independent licensed providers are responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, prescribing, treatment decisions, and follow-up. Sinta is responsible for its technology and administrative coordination, while each participating business remains responsible for its own operations, marketing, and legal obligations.

Pricing and partnership

Can I set my own pricing?

Partners may establish the Partner Wellness Services Fee for the nonclinical wellness services they provide, subject to the applicable agreement, program requirements, and law. Costs associated with provider services, pharmacy fulfillment, laboratory services, and other healthcare services are established separately. Together, these amounts determine the total consumer price.

What is the Partner Wellness Services Fee?

The Partner Wellness Services Fee is the amount a Partner establishes for the nonclinical wellness services it provides. Depending on the business, these services may include general wellness education, encouragement, accountability, progress tracking, and regular check-ins. This fee is separate from costs associated with medical care, pharmacy fulfillment, laboratory services, and other healthcare services.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Sinta’s platform subscription is billed monthly without a long-term contract. Cancellation, notice, outstanding payment, transition, and other obligations are governed by the applicable agreement and Terms of Service.

Can I advertise the programs online?

Partners may market approved program offerings subject to applicable law, program requirements, and each advertising platform’s policies. Marketing must be truthful, not misleading, properly substantiated, and must not guarantee treatment, medication, availability, revenue, or health outcomes. Prescription-drug and telehealth advertising may require additional disclosures, approvals, or certifications.

Does Sinta guarantee revenue or client outcomes?

No. Sinta provides the platform and coordinated infrastructure, but business performance and health outcomes vary. Revenue depends on factors such as demand, pricing, marketing, client eligibility, participation, and retention, while clinical outcomes depend on each client’s individual circumstances and care plan.

What will clients pay, and does Sinta accept insurance?

Sinta programs are offered on a cash-pay basis. The total consumer price may include the Partner Wellness Services Fee and separate costs for provider services, pharmacy fulfillment, laboratory services, and other healthcare services. Insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed. Clients should confirm HSA or FSA eligibility and any reimbursement requirements with their plan administrator.

What support and training does my team receive?

Sinta helps configure your portal, workflows, team access, and launch plan. Your team also receives guidance on using the platform and introducing the offering to clients, along with ongoing support for platform questions, workflows, and program operations. Specific services are governed by the applicable agreement.

What happens to active clients if the partnership ends?

Account transition, access, outstanding payments, and other obligations are handled according to the applicable agreement and Terms of Service. Medical care remains the responsibility of the independent treating provider, and clients should use the designated clinical and pharmacy channels for questions about ongoing care or prescriptions.

Who handles cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes?

Responsibility depends on the charge involved. Questions about the Partner Wellness Services Fee are handled according to the Partner’s policies, while provider, laboratory, pharmacy, and other healthcare charges are governed by the applicable program terms and the policies of the party that provided the service. Sinta can help direct clients to the appropriate support channel.
