Sinta is not a healthcare provider and does not issue the controlling Notice of Privacy Practices for medical records. The applicable clinical provider's notice describes how that provider uses and discloses health information, subject to applicable law. This page does not replace a provider's notice or create an exception to applicable privacy protections.
Sinta Health, LLC ("Sinta") provides technology and nonclinical administrative services. When Sinta creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information ("PHI") on behalf of a HIPAA-covered entity, Sinta acts as a Business Associate under the applicable Business Associate Agreement.
1. Sinta's HIPAA role
In its Business Associate role, Sinta safeguards PHI, uses and discloses it only as permitted by the applicable agreement and law, supports covered entities in fulfilling certain privacy obligations, and reports certain improper uses, disclosures, or breaches to the covered entity.
Participating clinical organizations and their licensed healthcare providers remain responsible for medical records, clinical decisions, and their own privacy practices. Sinta may support their technology, intake, scheduling, laboratory, pharmacy, care-coordination, and administrative workflows.
2. Provider privacy notices
The notice that applies to a medical record depends on the clinical organization that provided or arranged the healthcare service.
Beluga Health, P.A.
Beluga Health, P.A. is responsible for all medical consultations available through Sinta, including medical evaluation, prescribing when clinically appropriate, and related clinical services. Sinta does not provide medical consultations or make clinical decisions.
View Beluga Health's Notice of Privacy Practices.
Junction Health
Junction's network physicians approve and review laboratory orders handled through their network. Their responsibility is limited to laboratory orders approved by that network and does not extend to other laboratory orders. Independent laboratories perform laboratory testing.

Pharmacies and laboratories
Pharmacy fulfillment is provided by Beluga's approved pharmacy partners, which independently dispense prescribed medications. Independent pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare organizations may provide separate privacy notices governing information they create or maintain. The notice applicable to your records depends on the organization responsible for those records.
Contact the responsible organization through its patient portal or the contact information in its notice to request its current privacy notice. Sinta can help identify the appropriate contact.
3. Records, rights, and complaints
Requests to access, amend, restrict, or obtain an accounting of disclosures for a medical record should generally be submitted to the clinical organization that maintains the record, using the contact information in its notice. Sinta can help route a request submitted through our contact form.
Sinta cannot independently amend or delete records maintained by another organization. Applicable record-retention requirements may limit deletion. This does not limit Sinta's obligations to assist covered entities with individual rights requests under applicable law and agreements.
Please describe the assistance you need without including medical records, detailed health information, payment card information, or identity documents in the public contact form. You may also call (561) 475-1218. We will explain any verification steps and secure method needed to handle your request.
You may raise a privacy concern with the applicable clinical provider or contact Sinta. You may also file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. You will not be retaliated against for filing a complaint.
4. Sinta's safeguards
Sinta uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect PHI. Access is limited based on role and need, and service providers that handle PHI must accept appropriate privacy and security obligations.
When a subcontractor creates, receives, maintains, or transmits PHI on Sinta's behalf in Sinta's Business Associate role, Sinta requires an appropriate subcontractor Business Associate Agreement and applicable privacy and security safeguards. This includes authorized AI service providers when they handle PHI in that role. Such providers must handle PHI only as permitted by applicable agreements and law.
Where enabled and permitted, authorized AI tools may process identifiable patient information to support educational summaries, scores, trends, and draft wellness insights. Sinta does not use these tools to diagnose, prescribe, determine medical eligibility, or make clinical decisions. Sinta does not use identifiable patient information to train general-purpose AI models for Sinta.
If Sinta discovers a reportable breach of unsecured PHI, it will notify the applicable covered entity and support investigation and legally required notifications in accordance with applicable law and agreements.
For Sinta's broader information practices and rights relating to consumer health data, see our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. HIPAA applicability depends on the entity, information, and activity involved; information outside HIPAA may still be protected by other applicable privacy laws.
